Innocenti Stefano

Though I was passionaltely fond of ceramic very early, it was only during the 80s that this became my specific professional concern. After several experiences in contemporary arts, I found in the majolica technique an important link between tradition and experimentation. The endless search around the shape allowed me to forge items ranging from single forms to design and furnishing objects. I don’t cover forms, I “dress” them through an open work technique which generates refined geometries enveloping objects. The form is highlighted by the use of different kinds of clays and color coatings. My interest in the book “Pinocchio” and my love for it led me to the creation of some sculptures illustrating this story, according to the original text. facebook; innocenti.stefano.1@facebook.com
